Project information — Details about your business, technical requirements, and goals that you share with us during consultations or through our audit forms.

Usage data — Standard web analytics including pages visited, time spent, browser type, and approximate geographic location via IP address (anonymized).

Communication records — Emails, WhatsApp messages, and chat conversations with our team or with Lexi, our AI assistant.

Payment information — We do not store payment card details. All payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, or Wise under their respective privacy policies.

Service delivery — To respond to inquiries, provide consultations, build your project, and deliver the services you've requested.

Communication — To send project updates, invoices, and responses to your queries. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.

AI assistant (Lexi) — Conversations with Lexi are processed by the Anthropic Claude API. Messages are used to generate responses and improve our AI configuration. No personally identifiable information from Lexi conversations is stored beyond 30 days.

Analytics — We use anonymized usage data to improve our website and user experience. We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking).

Legal compliance — When required by applicable law in the jurisdictions we operate in (Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, UK, EU, USA, UAE, Australia).

BYV Tech is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh and serves clients globally. Your data may be processed in multiple countries including Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, United States, and the European Union.

For EU/EEA clients, we comply with GDPR requirements and ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
